Installing Instructions - top
- Unzip the file downloaded plugin from codecanyon. You can download all your purchased files from https://codecanyon.net/downloads
- Upload all the files to the /wp-content/plugins/article-read-time
- Activate the plugin through the ‘Plugins’ menu in WordPress.
- For customizing the plugin’s settings, click on Article Read Time option menu in WordPress left admin menu.
OR
- Open your Dashboard-> Plugins-> Add New
- Click on Upload Plugin
- Click on Choose File
- Select the file downloaded plugin zip folder and click Install Now
- Once the plugin is installed click on Activate Plugin
- You are done, to customize the plugin’s settings, click on Article Read Time option menu in WordPress left admin menu.
How to update your plugin? - top
As soon as you receive the update notification email from the codecanyon for our product "Article Read Time & Progress Bar", you can then go to your codecanyon account's download page and then download the latest update. You can view your downloads page from below link.
https://codecanyon.net/downloadsOnce you download the latest version, please deactivate and delete the existing version plugin from your site and install and activate the latest downloaded version. And yes, all your settings and forms will remain as is even after you deactivate and delete and install the new version.

Basic Settings - top
Once you install and activate the plugin and turn the status on, then you can configure all the necessary basic settings related with the plugin from the basic settings. In basic settings you will find below options.
- Display Status - It can be used to enable or disable to display frontend.
- Select Post Type - It is the field for selecting the post type to display it.
- Word Per Minute - It is the field to get average reading word per minute.
- Display Section - In this field you can select option to display the section in top or end of the content or both.
Layout Settings - top
You can display a section in the begining of content or end and also in both section.
- Display Type - There are available 2 type . one is paragraph style template and another one is block style template.
- Choose Template - There are available 10 differens template for paragraph style and block style.
- Heading Text - You can enter the heading text to be displayed upside of the section.
- Word/Character Count Message - You can enter the message to be displayed in the section for word you can use [word],for word count , you can use [character_count] for character and you can use [time] for read time.
- Word Enable - You can enable the word for display total number of words in article in block section
- Character Enable - You can enable the character for display total number of character in article in block section.
- Read Enable - You can enable the time for artice reading time in block section.
Customize Settings - top
You can display a section in the begining of content or end and also in both section.
- Heading Color
- Heading Text Color
- Number Color
- Background Color
- Icon Background Colore
- Icon Symbol Color
Progress Bar Settings - top
You can display a section in the begining of content or end and also in both section.
- Progress Bar Status - It can be used to enable or disable to display frontend.
- Select Post Type - It is the field for selecting the post type to display it.
- Select Position - It is the field to position to display progress upper side or lower.
- Display Style - In this field you can select normal or gradient style.
- Background Color - In this field you can select backgroung color.
- Primary Color - In this field you can select main primary color.
- Secondary Color - In this field you can select secondary color for gradient option.
- Bar Thickness: - In this field you can increse thickness of progress by giving height of it.
Frontend Display - top
As soon as the status of our plugin is turned on from our plugin's basic settings, it shall show in the configured post types Posts. It shall show like the screenshot below as per the display position, display type and template choosen.
